CHIEF MINISTER SINDH PRESIDED OVER THE HIGH LEVEL MEETING TO REVIEW LAW AND ORDER SITUATION IN THE PROVINCE AT CM HOUSE KARACHI
KARACHI SEPTEMBER 01, 2014: The Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah has nodded to appoint another batch of one thousand retired army soldiers, in addition to induction of further 10,000 police personnel during the current financial year. The Chief Minister also directed the I.G. Sindh Police to complete the purchasing process of 5000 bullet proof jackets and 100 bullet proof mobiles within shortest possible time and also to submit complete PC-I for establishment of DNA Lab at Karachi, which according to him was very much essential for detection of evidence and criminals.
The Chief Minister also directed the Home Department to submit the proposal for separating 4 to 5 anti-terrorism courts and specifying same only to try the cases relating to ongoing targeted operation and also to arrange trial of high profile cases outside the Karachi. He directed the officers not to stop the ongoing peaceful protest of PTI workers but to show their tolerance and deal with political protestors in such a way so that no either party should be disturbed.

CHIEF MINISTER SINDH PRESIDED OVER MEETING TO DISCUSS THE PROPOSAL FOR FIXING THE SUPPORT PRICE OF COTTON AND PADDY PRODUCTION HELD HERE AT CM HOUSE KARACHI THIS EVENING
The Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah has asked the grower’s organizations and provincial Agriculture Department to work out PC-I separately for fixing Government’s support price for the cotton and paddy production with its implications on the Government and socio-economic impact on the grower’s community so that a comprehensive decision in this regard could be made for the progress of the farmers community. This he asked while presiding over meeting to discuss the proposal for fixing the support price of cotton and paddy production held here at CM House Karachi this evening.
The Sindh Minister for Agriculture Ali Nawaz Mehar, Sindh Minister Food Jam Mumtaz Dahar, Advisor to CM for Finance Syed Murad Ali Shah, Secretary Agriculture Saqib Soomro, Secretary Finance Sohail Rajput, Secretary Food and other officers attended the meeting.Read more
