Political Carrear / Position Held	1. He was elected as Chairman District Council Khairpur in Ayub Khan’s Era. 2. Pioneer Member of PPP in 1967. 3. Elected as MNA in 1970 & Become federal minister for industries & Kashmir Affairs. 4. Elected as MPA in 1990 & appointed as a leader of Sindh Assembly In 1997, He was elected as a Senator in Senate. 3. Elected as MPA in 2002. 5. Elected as MPA in 2008 & once again become Chief Minister, Sindh for second time. 6. As a meter of fact he remained six times MPA of Sindh Assembly, Where as one time each as MNA & Senator respectively. 7. Moreover, Syed Qaim Ali Shah remained President of PPP Sindh for three tenures, i.e 1973 to 1977, 1987 to 1997 & from 2004 till to date.
